Today Joshua tells me that they were reading books in class and when a classmate got finished with his, he rolled it up and was using it like a telescope. Mrs. S asked him if you were supposed to treat books that way. Everyone said "NOOO!!!!...that is disrespectful". He continued with later they were in PE and the teacher was telling them to be kind to the equipment. Joshua says to me we should be kind to books too, they are equipment, right??
I am amazed at how he is soaking up information. I just wish he would learn to be quiet and not disruptive. He has come home on yellow the past 2 days...I don't want to but I feel as if I need to take away fall baseball if he doesn't straighten up. Wish us luck!!!

- I am the mother of 5, You could say I am a SAHM. I deliver the Birmingham News so I only work about 3-4 hours a day. My baby started Kindergarten this year and my oldest started high school...I am now kid free during the day and although I really miss my babies, I am loving the freedom to go to the grocery store and actually be able to peruse the aisles without having to take someone to the bathroom, (unless of course I drink that big tall glass of ice tea before I left), or someone asking a million and one times if they can have this or that. So I started this blog to commemorate Josh's first year of school and everything he learns, whether it is book knowledge of life knowledge. He looks at things so differently than most...I am in AWE!!!
